About the Henderson, Nevada Historical Society | Henderson Historical Society - Nevada
Like the technology and innovation that built the famed BMI plant in Henderson in the 1940s to produce much-needed magnesium for the war effort, the HHS harnesses the power of modern Internet technology. HHS is exclusively an online, virtual historical society. This gives the HHS greater flexibility and reach while still allowing for traditional fundraising, town tours, and outreach events that engage the public in real-time. A non-profit 501 (c)(3) corporation, the Henderson Historical Society is committed to sharing and preserving Henderson’s heritage.
Mission Statement:
The Henderson Historical Society seeks to foster public awareness and pride and to preserve the history of Henderson, Nevada for future generations.
