History of the Clark County School 
District: From Consolidation in 1956 to Reorganization in 2017.

The panel will focus on the issues that made Consolidation necessary and how continued population growth led to Assembly Bill 469 requiring decentralization of the CCSD, one of the nation’s largest school districts.

Mark Hall-Patton CC Museums Administrator will serve as Moderator.

Dr. P. Kay Carl and Mr. Ralph Cadwallader, retired CCSD Associate Superintendents are skilled observers who continue to serve in State and local education organizations.

Mr. Gary Gray, a distinguished CCSD teacher will join the group with a special insight to the history of our schools. He is the son of first CCSD Superintendent R. Guild Gray
