Henderson Speaks: If It Wasn’t for Pittman

The Henderson Town site was not endow with property owners. Hear about the small township of Pittman became the Gateway to Henderson to become a City on April 16, 1953.


James R. Marsh
Jim Marsh is president of Jim Marsh Automotive in Las Vegas. He started in the automotive business in 1965 when he opened Jim Marsh Pontiac in Longview, Wash. Marsh represents Nevada’s franchised new-car dealers on the board of directors of the National Automobile Dealers Association. (Term: February 2010-January 2019)

Bobbie Ellis
Bob went to work for his father and today is president and CEO of Snap Towing. True to the promise he made to himself, Bob — and Sandra — have contributed more than four million dollars to non-profit groups and education.

Mark Hall-Patton – MC
Mark Hall-Patton is the Museums Administrator for the Clark County museum system, where he oversees the Clark County Museum, the Howard W. Cannon Aviation Museum, and the Searchlight History Museum. He has been with Clark County for twenty years, and was previously the Director of the San Luis Obispo County Historical Museum in California. He has worked for both public and private non-profit museums, and has consulted with numerous start-up and established museums and museum boards. Mark Hall-Patton is the much-valued advisor of the Henderson Historical Society.
